This program is designed to develop skills that are essential for employment and skills that relate directly to a work activity within the welding and fabrication industry. The units selected provide practical skills that are relevant and useful to the area in which the student hopes to gain employment or further knowledge. The group of units chosen support the project and incorporate both the technical and employability skills needed for work. Achievement of the MEM10119 Certificate I in Engineering will provide the student with a set of competencies that collectively open up pathways into employment and/or further study in the engineering industry.
